Q: Why do I need to load the artworks whenever I am at a new place?

A: There are simply way too many artworks in OpenStreetMap. We would overload their servers and your device if we were to pull down everything.

Q: Why is there no detail on “my” artwork?

A: No one has entered any detail, feel free to update yourself

Q: Why is “my” artwork not shown?

A: Likely because no one has added it to OpenStreetMap yet, feel free to to change that.

Q: Why does the app sometime take long to find my current position? Or can’t find it all?

A: There two ways for your phone to identify your position: GPS or via your mobile network provider. Either one will need a bit of time to return the position data. But sometimes you’ll get an immedeate response because another app requested your location recently and you’ll get what was reported back then. Or it might not get a response at all because you can’t lock in GPS or haven’t got proper mobile network coverage.

Q: Will you do a version for iOS?

A: Currently there are no plans to support iOS.
