Expert Mode

Expert Mode primarily allows you to add and edit artworks. However, you should have some understanding of how OpenStreetMap works — hence the name Expert Mode.

If you just want to explore, leave it switched off. If you want to actively contribute to improving the data, switch it on.

All new data is saved to the OpenStreetMap. Images of artworks are automatically uploaded to Wikimedia Commons under the CC BY-SA 4.0 licence.

To edit OpenStreetMap data, you need your own OpenStreetMap account. If you also want to add images, you will additionally need a Wikipedia account.

Edit Artwork Upload Dashboard

If you get the app from the Google Play Store, you can unlock Expert Mode by purchasing an in-app subscription. This also gives you access to a commercial map based on Mapbox.
